This is a large sampling of my playmat work over the past couple years. I have been at this now since 2002 but unfortunately most of the pictures of that older work is lost in the wind.

I started drawing on faux suede with ball point pen. After some ink transfer issues I moved on to using sharpie. For a while I was able to find the "Spell Ground" fabric and that is what a few of the older mats picture here are drawn on. Once the "Spell Ground" material dried up I started buying blank white mats. I also use a much stronger ink now that has virtually no transfer once sealed.

My latest mats are the best I have even done. They are not only drawn well but they are drawn on the highest quality fabric and drawn with the highest quality markers.
